QuakeCon. What a special event, where all the gamers gather up to play head to head in the latest online games and just plain having fun. Hi I'm Brian from Bgears, here to share with you on our products we showcased at QuakeCon 2007 and some thoughts I have about QuakeCon.Our b-Enspirer sound card drew in a few attentions to some of the audiophile folks. Lots of you guys were asking about how we stack up against Creative's own X-Fi series. Well that's a great question; we're one of the few people who carry the digital SPDIF ports for clearer and richer sound. We're also more focused towards Dolby and DTS technologies. Best of all we're huge on value for all the features we support on our sound card compared to X-Fi. quakecon04
A lot of you seem to be considering our b-Envi small factor form case as your next case, due to its size and microATX support. Unlike some of the Shuttle small factor form cases, you can put in a standard microATX. Our touch sensitive button seemed to get some of you drooling, which is always awesome (sorta) for us! Yeah, we're pretty much really happy with all the QuakeCon fans complimenting on our case.
Our b-Tarantula has caught some of SLI fans out there. It seems our cable modular connection seemed to appeal with some of you folks with tighter fitting cases. We wished we could open up our power supply to check the guts of our power supply; it really does look nifty with the oversized heatsink we equipped it with plus many more features included like Active PFC, Oversize fan, Auto fan speed control, Green Power, and many more. quakecon05

My thoughts on QuakeCon? Not many of you may care, but hey... here it goes:

There are a lot of talented people in this event. I too like to play the games they play (like Quake 4, Counter-strike, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, and many more other first person shooters), but man all you folks have some of the most ridiculous reaction time - you guys are all frag monkeys! It was really awesome to see many different systems built out there at the QuakeCon event and I hope to see our products in some of your future rigs!
